Take time out to experience yoga by the magnificent Murrumbidgee River. The word Murrumbidgee meaning ‘Big Water’ in the local Wiradjuri language. Experience the life and flow of the river in this peaceful yoga experience, immersed in nature.
Enjoy being in tree pose surrounded by magnificent River Red Gums! Observe the flowing river carving through the landscape, feeling grounded as you stand in mountain pose by the riverbank. Listen to the birds squawking above, hear a fish splash in the river, or see a flock of ducks fly past.

Walk from the farmhouse at ‘Bereena' to the yoga location by the river. This peaceful walk takes you along the top of a hill overlooking the river, past beautiful farmland with spectacular views overlooking the river landscape. Walk along a paddock track down to the river, winding your way along the river track to your yoga location. All you need to do is tune into the beauty surrounding you on this picturesque walk and rejuvenating yoga experience.

The yoga can be tailored to suit the group. There is no need for experience. Poses and the flow can be adjusted to suit the group depending on preference, and level of experience and physical ability.
RIVER WALK
30 minutes each way
The walk will be undulating, with a hill descent on the way to the river, followed by a hill ascent after the yoga, walking along a paddock track. The walk to the river will take 20 to 30 mins, followed by yoga practice, morning or afternoon tea, before returning on the track to the house.

The yoga could be an energising early morning practice watching the sunrise by the river, or a late afternoon/early evening practice to help bring calm at the end of the day.

Enjoy a delicious morning or afternoon tea by the river.
A gluten free cake or slice will be baked using a local recipe from the popular Long Track Pantry cookbook, accompanied by your choice of tea.
